Notes
- All three Vespiquen decks that made Day 2 advanced to Top 8.
- William Boatman was undefeated throughout Day 1 and Day 2 Swiss. His first and only loss of the tournament was to Dylan Bryan in Top 8.
- This was the second time Dylan Bryan and Kyle Sabelhaus played against each other in Top 4 of Georgia Regionals! (The first time was in 2015.)
Brad Curcio, 11th / Jimmy Pendarvis, 18th - Greninja BREAK
Player notes:
- Q: "How come you guys chose to drop Enhanced Hammer? I also like at least 3 Silent Lab in the deck, any reason you thought 2 was enough?"
- Pendarvis: "I dropped the Hammers for consistency cards. It's only good against Yveltal, which we didn't expect to see a lot of. I 2-0'd two of them though. Two Lab was perfect imo. Even vs [Giratina XY184] I had no issues with two"
- Curcio: "I went 3-0 [in matches] against Tina promo over the weekend... 2 [Silent Lab] was plenty."
- Pendarvis: "I wanted Pokemon Ranger for the mirror match. Greninja was very popular. I added it last minute by removing a Trainers' Mail. For League Cups, it should be treated as a flex spot."
- Pendarvis: "I got donked 0 times and I dead drew 3 times."
- Pendarvis: "Talonflame felt very weak in testing."
- Curcio: "Repeat Ball > Talonflame"
