• This, the 12th North American Regional of the 2018-19 season, was the first such Regional at which a Team DDG member failed to reach the finals. 
• Jose Marrero's devotion to Rayquaza-GX during the 2018-19 season finally paid off: before Hartford, he'd played a Rayquaza-GX deck in 6 of his 10 Day 2 appearances since the start of the season.
