Tournament format
- Two-day format, with Day 1 open to all players, and top worldwide CP earners from 2019-20 season (pre-cancellation) receiving a Day 1 bye
- Day 1: 10 best-of-1 untimed Swiss rounds. Players accumulating 7 wins automatically qualified to Day 2 and players accumulating more than 3 losses were automatically dropped from the tournament.
- Day 2: players advancing from Day 1 combined with auto-Day 2 qualified "top" players and played 8 best-of-3 untimed Swiss rounds. Top 8 cut with 75 minute time limit per match.
