Tournament format
  • 8 25 minute best-of-1 swiss rounds followed by a 75 minute best-of-3 Top 16 cut
  • Juniors, Seniors and Masters all played in a shared field
  • Winner of the championship will win a Day 2 invite to the 2023 Pokemon TCG World Championship along with a paid trip to the event
  • Tan Yong Siang had earned a bye into Top 16 cut from winning the Asia Open so he was inserted as the 16th seed with the top 15 making up the rest of top cut
