Tournament format
- 9 25 minute best-of-1 swiss rounds with players on a 7-2 score moving on to Day 2. 4 50 minute best-of-3 swiss rounds in Day 2 followed by a best-of-3 Top 8 cut
- Players were allowed to switch decks after Day 1
- Juniors, Seniors and Masters played in separate fields
- Winner of the championship will win a Day 2 invite to the 2023 Pokemon TCG World Championship along with a paid trip to the event
